“Wind” blows in Zayed University

The Blue Auditorium in Zayed University became a cinema by showing the three short movies “wind”, “sabeel”, and “tanbak”. Attend the event Dr Sulaiman Aljassim and crowd of students, teachers and the production team.

The event started by showing "wind" and discuss it . Mr Ahmed Hassan , the UAE national film director answer the audience questions and discussed the content of "wind". According to Mr Hassan, “wind” has a lot of symbols like pain and sadness in daily life, and he takes the stories from street, simple places and simple people. Also, he said in short movies, l can’t say a clear things. I can’t be a father or social worker, but I give my audience the freedom to understand in their way. So I don’t have a specific target or message in my movies.

The “ wind” movie filming in Ras Al Khaimah because the director looking for the natural environment, and his goal is sending the UAE values, history and culture to others so he choose the historical and natural places in the country.
In the end of the discussion Dr Al Jassim thanked them for coming and discussing the movies, and he encourage them and the local students to be creative to protect the UAE values and history by these movies.
