“Trouble maker” comes to ZU

Sultan Sooud Al Qassemi, UAE columnist and the king of twitter sharing his experiences with communication college students in ZU for first time.

Al Qassemi talked about how he started writing. He wrote the first article about lslamic financial. He added, the local people thank him about that article and this was the first article for them. He said, social media more popular than traditional media. He wrote more about the Gulf because he thought the gulf needs more voice.

Also, about the political issue and using twitter, he covered the Egyptian and Tunisian revolution, he used twitter to follow all speechs and wrote comments about Ben Ali the late President of the Tunisian and Muammar Gaddafi the Libyan President. About the Egyptian revolution, he added there were elements that help him to cover it like he has energy, the language whice is Arabic and the time. Also,he likes Egypt and knows more about it. Al Qassemi described himself as a "Trouble maker”.

He encouraged the ZU students to give their voice through the social media like twitter and facebook and argue even if they don't agree with something . In his opinion every one should write and it is important to write and speak according to knowledge and when you don’t know some thing say l don’t know about it.
Time magazine chose 140 personalities on Twitter for readers to vote to choose the best, entered by the UAE Sultan Saud Al Qasimi. He has more than 64,000 twitter followers and readers and he said he didn’t expected that.
