TEDX Dubai Women, Another Success Accomplished by Emirati Women

Dubai: Under the patronage of his highness sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of  the Dubai Culture and Art Authority, TEDX Dubai Women was hosted by Zayed University on the 8th of December for the first time, surprisingly it was directed and presented by the university’s  students themselves.

The globally held event introduced five local speakers who shared their stories of success with the TEDX audience all over the globe. The event showed the creative spirit of the speakers and students who ran the event successfully despite all the technical problems they faced during the event.

James Piceway, a Professor at Zayed University and a TEDX Staff said that everybody who witnessed the running of this event  believed that this is what defines a truly TEDX event, as being independently organized, and it was ran by students for the greater community.
